Swimathon 2008
Presentation to Dee Banks School
Last Friday, Head Coach Barry Healey and top fundraisers Lucy Doherty and William Brown were at Dee Banks School to present a cheque for £500. This amount was raised as a result of the Swimathon held back in November. After a tour of the school, the COCSC party was invited to Friday afternoon assembly. Here a group of children explained what sort of equipment (a variety of flotation devices) they would be buying with the money raised. Lucy and William presented the head teacher and children with a cheque and they in turn expressed their sincere thanks to all the club swimmers who took part.
