Primary Schools Gala - Overleigh Boys break King's hold on the trophy
The annual Primary schools gala was held on 17th May. Always a well attended and noisy event, this years was no different. The boys event went to a very exciting and close finish with Overleigh St Mary's breaking the hold that King's have had on the trophy and receiving the loudest cheers of the night. The girls event was a duel between King's and Queen's with King's finishing the victors. The small school competion was won by Merton House. Full results below.

Small Schools – to qualify for this schools have to have 25 or less children in Yr. 5 & 6 combined.

There was a demonstration of competitive swimming by members of the Club between the heats and finals: Lucy Doherty, Isobel Thwaite, Simon Ellershaw & Ian Prossor
Thanks to Sue for organising the event and all the volunteers for helping with judging, timing and marshalling. City of Chester Swimming Club is pleased to support the local comunity and hosts this annual event at no charge to the participants.
